Textile Pictures
For anyone who loves creativity, textiles and art, this is a lovely workshop for you. There will be an abundance of fabric, lace, sequins, beads and embroidery thread covering the table that you can explore and incorporate into your work. Artwork can be influenced by the country or a specific image, we will have examples to show you on the day. You will use basic running stitches to create texture and can explore other stitches to create depth and interest to your textile picture. You will head home with your picture framed ready to display at home.
Some basic sewing skills are handy for this workshop.

Afternoon Tea
- •A pot of tea (chose from English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Green Tea or Herbal - decaffeinated tea available) or Americano coffee
- •Assorted finger sandwiches (cucumber, smoked salmon and cream cheese, egg & cress, ham & mustard mayonnaise)
- •Scones served with clotted cream and choice of jam
- •Selection of mini cakes and tartlets (raspberry and vanilla cake, chocolate brownie, fruit tart and macaroon)
- •Add a glass of sparkling wine
