Our Story
About Lily & Belle
Est. 2024
Born from a Love of
Making & Baking
Lily & Belle was born from a simple dream: to create a space where the art of crafting and the pleasure of a beautiful afternoon tea come together under one roof.
What started as a small sewing circle over cups of tea has blossomed into a beloved community hub — a place where beginners discover new passions, experienced makers find inspiration, and everyone leaves with a smile (and usually a full stomach).
Whether you're joining us for a candle-making workshop, a leisurely afternoon tea with friends, or simply browsing our curated selection of craft supplies, we hope you'll feel right at home.
Community
Celebrating Local Craft
& Community
Lostwithiel has long been known for its independent spirit and creative heart — often called Cornwall's antiques capital — and we are proud to continue that tradition in our own way.
At Lily & Belle, we celebrate the makers, artists and creatives who make this town so special. Our craft space showcases a carefully curated collection of local work — from ceramics and textiles to artwork and unique gifts — offering something truly distinctive while supporting Cornwall's thriving creative community.
Heritage
Rooted in History,
Reimagined for Today
Once a centre of power and industry, the Duchy Palace has always been a place where people come together.
Now, as Lily & Belle open their doors, it becomes something new once again — a place of warmth, creativity and connection.
We invite you to step inside, soak up the atmosphere, and be part of this beautiful new chapter.
